This class offers information on the benefits and basic management of breastfeeding.  Topics include latching, early skin-to-skin contact, rooming-in, feeding on cue, expressing milk, helpful hints and includes a "Breastfeeding a New Start" booklet.  Our breastfeeding program is dedicated to meeting the California Hospital Breastfeeding policies and the World Health Organization (WHO) Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative.
