Since 1981, Dameron Hospital has been supported by the Dameron Hospital Foundation (a 501(c) 3 non-profit Foundation). The
Foundation’s mission is to provide the funds necessary for
updating medical equipment and facilities at Dameron Hospital,
and to support the hospital in its endeavor to promote a healthier
community.
In addition to serving as the chief fundraising entity
for the hospital, the Foundation provides ongoing leadership and
vision
for the hospital through its trustees, which include a diverse
group of community leaders who volunteer their time to serve on
Foundation committees.
Over the last two decades the Foundation
has raised over $10 million from individuals, organizations, and
corporations. These gifts
are evident throughout our facilities in the form of new buildings,
vital remodeling projects, and updated technologies that meet
the vigorous demands of our physicians and their patients.

2012 Golf & Tennis Classic to benefit Ultrasound Department of Dameron Hospital

It’s a boy! It’s a girl!
We usually associate ultrasound with prenatal care and for good reason. Using the newest in high quality resolution equipment, ultrasound can determine many fetal abnormalities in the developing fetus in a safe, cost-effective way.
We are excited to celebrate our San Francisco themed 24th Annual Dameron Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, October 1st at Brookside Country Club and the Marina Tennis Courts. Proceeds will help purchase two high performing systems ($140,000 each) with excellent image quality, portability and sophisticated ergonomics that meet the standards for the community.
The ultrasound department at Dameron is a busy one, performing a variety of exams and procedures every day. Diagnostic Ultrasound is a valuable method of imaging the body and vital organs to aide the physician in diagnosing gallstones, narrowing of the arteries and deep vein thrombosis, thyroid and breast abnormalities. The new equipment has unique imaging technologies such as 3D and 4D to consistently deliver images with exceptional quality, resolution and detail.
Join with our lead sponsor Crothall Health Care Services in supporting your community hospital by sponsoring the 2012 Golf & Tennis Classic. We look forward to sharing the day with you and thank you for bringing updated technology to our patients.
