Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Training
Are you considering becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced EMT (AEMT), Paramedic or need EMS Classes? The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Training update course will provide the student with:
- The information needed for recognizing the infant or child at risk of cardiopulmonary arrest.
- Information and strategies for preventing cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary for resuscitation and stabilizing the infant or child in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.
Students need to have basic training in EKG Interpretation and Emergency Pharmacology prior to attending this course as it covers these topics in review form only. Students must be advanced life support providers. Students must show proof of their current PALS Provider card.
