The Dameron Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit Foundation, was established on November 25, 1981, to serve as the fundraising arm of Dameron Hospital. The Foundation's mission is to provide the funds necessary for updating medical equipment and facilities at Dameron Hospital and to support the hospital in its endeavor to promote a healthier community.
Since its creation, the Foundation has supported the hospital in all areas of expansion, building, and remodeling. For example, through individual and corporate gifts, the hospital updated its heart catheterization lab, added MRI and CT scan technology, and purchased state-of-the-art telemetry equipment to meet the needs of physicians and their patients.
