Healthy Lifestyles Post-Op Classes
The Dameron Hospital Healthy Lifestyles Post-Op Class is recommended for patients in their first month after weight loss surgery to provide guidance in the early phases of transitioning into their new healthy lifestyle. Topics covered incorporate the principles from The Success Habits of Weight Loss Surgery Patients, a book written by Colleen M. Cook. Classes are offered once a month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and additional class dates are provided depending on patient demand.
Bariatric Patient Support Group
Dameron Hospital’s Bariatric Weight Loss Program is designed for the whole person – mind and body – in providing long-term weight loss solutions that reveal your complete self. Our Bariatric Surgery Support Group provides participants with an excellent opportunity to discuss their life-changing experiences, customized treatment plans, and pre-operative and post-surgery education. The group holds meetings once a month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
